Shakira had it right back in the 2000s, the hips don’t lie. They’re a contributor to plenty of complaints from back pain, pelvic pain, even incontinence and constipation. These issues have a variety of underlying causes such as postural misalignment, pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, muscular tightness and/or weakness, and the coordination of these muscles/facial connections in relation to other parts of the body such as the pelvic floor and spine.
Get in touch with your pelvis and hips with three of my favorite moves. This will bring attention to your lower back, sacrum, tailbone, pelvis, hips, and lower abdominals. Yes, I do touch my own bum here, and you can too! We live in our bodies, might as well know where our sit-bones and tailbone are, am I right?!
